“We just want to check in to make sure everything’s okay, that you’re not mad or whatever.” That I’m not mad.

^^This part resonated with me. It’s happened twice today at the office. When you are one of only a handful of minorities at a company, you get accused of giving Angry Black Guy looks when all you are trying to do is survive or thrive at your job. I don’t know if there is a way around this, but I can relate.
