The Secondhand Inspiration Project begins with a motivational quote and ventures wherever the creative path meanders.

Helen Keller was an American author, lecturer, and advocate for the blind and deaf. Born with both sight and hearing, an illness at 19 months left her deaf and blind. Guided by her teacher Anne Sullivan, Keller overcame these roadblocks, learning to communicate through touch and developing remarkable academic achievements.

She became the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. Keller’s life and accomplishments symbolize triumph over adversity and resilience, breaking barriers for individuals with disabilities. As a renowned speaker and author, she campaigned for women’s rights, workers’ rights, and social equality. Her autobiography, “The Story of My Life,” remains an inspirational account of her extraordinary journey.

Keller’s legacy extends beyond her achievements, making her an example of courage, determination, and the capacity to overcome obstacles. My favorite quote of hers is –
